Affordable housing new construction
ComEd offers technical assistance and financial incentives to developers of affordable housing. Projects should apply early in the development process and align their design with the ComEd Multi-Family Standard, which includes an integrated bundle of energy cost reduction measures designed to deliver significant energy savings over the current Illinois Energy Conservation Code baseline. Electric home new construction
ComEd offers technical assistance and financial incentives to developers of new construction and major renovation for all-electric homes. Requirements include tighter envelope, high efficiency heat pump HVAC, heat pump water heaters, ENERGY STAR appliances, LED lights, and efficient plumbing fixtures. Learn more here.

Depending on the project size, incentives can be up to $5,000 per unit.
